I promise if you learn these, it is going to change your digital life, blow people’s head with your lightening fast speed of operating computers with these. Here are some keyboard shortcuts people rarely know and are extremely fun once you try:-
Ctrl+Shift+N = Create a new folder
F2 = Rename a folder
Ctrl+left/right arrow key = Skip word instantly while typing (Try it, its fun)
Ctrl+home/end = Skip to start or end of document
Alt+Space+N = Minimize a window
Alt+F4 = Close a program
Win+D = Minimize all programs at one go
Win+Left/Right Arrow Key = Adjust window size to fit in two programs (Just try)
Alt+Tab = Switch between programs
Alt+Left/Right Arrow Key = Go back and forward in folders.
Win+E = Open window explorer
Although you need to practice them. But once mastered, I promise you’ll be an impressive piece.


Want to open your frequently used software/browser at a single shortcut key?
Follow these 3 steps:
  1. Pin your frequently used software to taskbar. For example you want to keep Mozilla Firefox browser handy. Right click on it and choose ‘Pin to taksbar’
2. Shift to first position in taskbar by dragging it.
3. Now whenever you have to open it just press win+1 i.e., Windows key and 1
Taddaa..You are done!
Most of us know this but forget to use.
PS: You can open consecutive softwares in yourtaskbar by pressing corresponding numbers as 1, 2, 3.. and so on. For example win+2 for VLC player in this case.
